What is a guided breathwork journey?
Depending on what option you choose, an experience may included a guided breathwork journey. As a guided breathwork journey may seem like a mysterious concept for those who haven’t experienced it before, here’s what to expect in a standard breathwork journey.
A guided breathwork journey usually combines activated and restorative breathing to access a non-ordinary state of consciousness where you can release subconscious blocks.
Every journey is unique to the individual and no two journeys are the same. Your body mind system is so intelligent that it will always give you what you need in that moment.

Prior to your first session you will complete a form asking some questions about you and your life so I can tailor your sessions specifically to your needs.
I then create a curated playlist for your session.

In a 1:1 session when you arrive we will settle in with a chat regarding what your intentions are for your session and anything that you are wanting to work through personally in your life.
Group session formats vary depending on the experience, see session specific details in your chosen experience outline.

A journey usually takes between 45 minutes - 1 hour, however most people comment that it feels like they were only in the journey for 15 minutes!
During the journey you lay down, get comfy with a blanket and close down your eyes. I then guide you through the breathwork journey (which will be personalised to your needs, or in the theme of your chosen group experience).
Tools such as tapping, toning, touch and energy work are also weaved through the journey depending on what you are comfortable with (and if the session is online or in person).

The first phase of the journey involves activated breathing (deep, conscious connected breaths through the mouth). Think of this phase as climbing a mountain, journeying through your inner world where stress, emotions, unresolved things from the past and anything that has been holding you back can be let go of so you can feel lighter, less stressed, more free and gain fresh perspectives.

The second phase of the journey involves restorative breathing (through the nose) where you can relax in to a beautiful guided meditation and go into a full state of relaxation and peace. It is common during this phase for fresh perspectives, feelings and insights to flow through.

Following the journey there is an opportunity to debrief on your experience as you come back to the present moment (if you choose to).
